Physical Properties:
Granule Amber (Brown), soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide and acetone, but not soluble in water. Mild toxicity, low pollution, fine solution with rubber. Flammable product, store in humid conditions and normal temperatures.
Application:
Prevent oxidation from almost all types of elastomers in various applications, with various temperature exposures. Long resistance to rubber provides resistance to long-term aging of rubber compounds. This inhibits oxidation catalyzed by heavy metals such as copper and manganese. As a result of its high molecular weight, TMQ migrates slowly inside the rubber martiston and does not bloom.
