Application:
TMTD offers rapid vulcanization and provides excellent vulcanization terrain with good heat aging and compression resistance when used in a no-sulfur vulcanization system and EV system. In EPDM TMTD is a valuable secondary accelerator. In mercaptan modified polychloroprene cured with ETU, it acts as a scorched retarder without affecting the speed of healing. This is non-staining and non-discoloring. Excellent color is obtained in non-black vulcanization.
